JON GLAZER

I’ve known no greater feeling than the one I get from music. Having experienced that blissful, natural high early and often, I am still in pursuit of the most sustainable, highest summit I can reach. Whether through singing, playing, songwriting, or (Gasp!) all at once, creating and performing make up a large part of who I am.

My ears, hands and voice have led me to places I’m fortunate to have been. I’ve composed, arranged, played keyboards and sung on recordings of all genres and types, from national commercials to album projects, including memorable sessions with Rick Springfield. In the 1990s, I toured with The Judds, and subsequently, Wynonna Judd. In addition to hundreds of concerts, I appeared with them on all of the late-night talk shows, as well as network series and prime-time specials. Some other notables I’ve played and/or sung with: Paul Shaffer, Bette Midler, Donny Osmond, and Rodney Crowell. I’ve returned several times to a live entertainment format I helped create, “Dueling Pianos,” performing across North America.

After twenty years, spread across Dallas, Los Angeles, Nashville, Denver and other cities, I moved back to my hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2002. Three years later, I released my first CD of ALMOST all original music (one cover), “Divine Rebellion.” The disc, which is available on iTunes and cdbaby.com, received acclaim from Keyboard magazine and other publications. The thread running through the album is "Otherworldly Optimistic Music" - I think you'll hear that in the song excerpts I’ve posted: I invite you to click on the tab, located under “Listen To Me!” Currently, I am writing songs for a new disc – I’ll be blogging about the progress/process of it, and maybe even sharing some clips on here!

I’m glad you came by; please enjoy looking at & listening to some of what I’ve done, whom I’ve met along the way, and where I’m going. I’m ready for more, and am nowhere near stopping.
